How To Make Green Beer for St. Patrick's Day
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Not just a day for attending parades and wearing green, but you also have to celebrate in style by drinking green beer too. If you have ever gone to a bar on St. Patty's Day then you know that it is customary to drink green beer. I mean, we gotta do it for the tradition.
Whether you are hitting the bars, carnivals or throwing a house party, you got to learn how to make green beer to be prepared! This is especially a classic move on your part if you decide to throw the pregame. Follow along below for your customized green beer recipe!
Ingredients
- 12 ounces beer
- 1 drop green food coloring
Instructions
- Add one drop of green food coloring to a tall cold beer glass
- Pour beer into the tall cold beer glass
- Serve tall cold beer glass
Wow! Look at you go! You just made your first St. Patty's green beer. We couldn't be more proud. Keep in mind though that you want the green food coloring to actually make your beer look green, so make sure you are using a light beer. Think Budweiser, Miller and Coors. If you are feeling fancy, then don't forget to check out German pilsners or any pale-colored craft beer.
